Spendesk is an awesome tool. Uploading receipts through the app or on your computer is a breeze, and it really helps keep your records neat and tidy.

An employee's card got compromised. After reaching out to Spendesk, we learned they had also flagged the charges as suspicious. The problem is, nobody informed us that the card was at risk, nor did they inquire about the charges. Plus, there was no guidance on blocking the card and getting a new one. We're used to our previous credit card provider alerting us about questionable charges and promptly closing the card while issuing a replacement. This kind of proactive approach was missing with Spendesk. It feels like there should be a better response to potential fraud.

It's quite a challenge to get a quote from these folks. They keep pushing for a demo. The sales rep seems clueless about the transaction fees involved, so I had to decline. They really ought to be clearer about things.

One major hassle I used to face was matching receipts with payments, but that problem has nearly vanished since we started using Spendesk. Many services let you set an email for sending receipts directly to Spendesk, which Marvin, the robot, then processes for matching most of the time. Sure, some services don’t allow receipts to be sent to emails, or they only let you send them to your own address, but even then, it’s a breeze to just forward the email to Spendesk’s address—super convenient!

Awesome gadget with a few glitches that need addressing. Between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, the app can get pretty sluggish, and sometimes payments just don’t go through or virtual cards take ages to load. Other than that, it’s a solid tool.
